Sweden’s curviest road – Brudfjällsvägen

Brudfjällsvägen – a roller-coaster ride on asphalt

Highlights: Sweden’s curviest road, 21% incline, rollercoaster feel
Distance:ca 8 km
Surface: Paved

Why this ride is worth it:

Often called Sweden’s curviest road – and for good reason! With a 21% incline at one point, Brudfjällsvägen in Dals Långed between Högsbyn and Håverud feels like a mini rollercoaster.

It’s a popular route for motorcyclists and car enthusiasts alike. I’ve ridden it once—fun to have ticked it off the list! But with all those blind corners, I found myself riding extra cautiously.

Tips and warnings

Lots of blind corners – keep your speed in check.
